With Land Worker you can transform large areas of land in a few minutes. Land Worker works with land parcels between 512m and 65.536m. That means it can terraform entire regions.

Land Worker can be used to transform:

    1) LAND PARCELS YOU ARE THE OWNER
    2) LAND PARCELS WITH EDIT TERRAIN PERMISSION
    3) LAND PARCELS OWNED BY THE SAME GROUP THAT THE MACHINE IS ADJUSTED AND ONLY IF THE MACHINEs OWNER HAS THE GROUP PERMISSIONS TO EDIT LAND

Land Worker can work in two modes:

    1) WORKING MODE
Click on WORK button of the remote HUD controller to enter in automatic WORKING mode. In this mode Land Worker will run all the land parcel where it has begun its work applying the land changings it is adjusted to do. The machine will turn off automatically when done its work.

    2) MANUAL MODE
In MANUAL mode, you should manually drive Land Worker’s position inside of the bounds of the land parcel where it has begun it’s work, and should manually apply the land changings by clicking on APPLY button of HUD controller.

    Vendors Material

The Land Worker Vendor Kit comes with some advertising material for you to build your vendor space, including:
    - The design of the Land Worker Tool without any scripts included and with edit permissions.
    - Two Ad Boards Textures

Does Land Worker can apply custom textures to the land?

DOES LAND WORKER CAN APPLY CUSTOM TEXTURES TO THE LAND?

No. Just island owners can apply custom textures to their lands.
There is nothing Land Worker can do about it.

Does Land Worker works if I am offline or if I am out of the SIM (Region)?

DOES LAND WORKER WORKS WHEN I AM OFFLINE?
ALSO, WHY IT DOES NOT WORK WHEN I AM OUT OF THE REGION I´VE PUT IT TO WORK?

No, when you are offline, land worker will just walk over your land parcel, but it will not transform the land where it is trying to work. The same will happen if you are out of the sim or region where land work is working. This happens because of a LSL Scripting Language restriction imposed by Second Life. And i don´t know the reasons for that restriction.

ERROR MESSAGE: Can’t create object because the parcel is full

WHEN I TOUCHED LAND WORKER TO GET THE REMOTE HUD CONTROLLER I RECEIVED THE MESSAGE: LAND WORKER: “Can’t create object because the parcel is full.” WHAT IS THIS PROBLEM AND HOW CAN I SOLVE IT?

Land Worker is designed with 9 prims. But the Remote HUD Controller has 47 prims in its Full version and 27 prims in its Mini version. Before you can attach the controller, the machine should rez it on the ground and ask for your permission to attach it. But, if your land parcel does not have the prim limits needed to rez the controller, it will give you this message.
If you can not rez any of the Remote HUD Controllers, the solution will be to delete enough prims on the land parcel, until it allows you to rez the controller.

Can I select an area to work with Land Worker?

CAN I SELECT AN AREA TO WORK WITH LAND WORKER?

No! The LSL Scripting language does not have functions to handle with selection of land areas. So it is not possible to select an area for land worker. But… As an alternative for this, you can:
    1) Select the area you want to work and subdivide it as a different land parcel.
    2) Turn on the edit terrain permission for this area, and turn off the same permission in all adjacent areas.
    3) Put Land Worker over the parcel you want to work, get your remote HUD controller attached.
    4) Turn on the EDIT T. function
    4) Setup the actions you want for the land
    5) Click on work button

How does Land Worker handle with group lands?

HOW DOES LAND WORKER HANDLE WITH GROUP LANDS?

To work with group lands follow this steps:
    1) Activate the group that owns the land parcel you are going to work
    2) Once activated, Rez a copy of Land Worker over that land
    3) Touch Land Worker for the HUD controller
    4) Setup the actions you want for the land
    5) Click on work button

(*) The machine will not work if you don´t have the group permissions to edit the land
(**) The machine will not work if it is with the EDIT T. function turned on

Land Worker is not applying ground changes. Why is that happening?

I AM TRYING TO LEVEL MY LAND, BUT LAND WORKER APPEARS TO BE WALKING OVER THE GROUND WITHOUT APPLYING ANY OF THE GROUND CHANGES I ADJUSTED IT TO. WHAT IS THAT HAPPENING?

There are two possibilities for this problem:

    1) If you are trying to LEVEL your land to a target ( T ) height that is below the actual Z height of the ground, it will not work correctly. First, you must LOWER the entire land to a lower height and after that you will LEVEL it up. That happens because the land LEVEL action, offered by LSL Script Language, can not lower the ground. For lower operations LSL Script offer the LOWER land action. So, anytime you want to LEVEL a land, you must LEVEL UP not LEVEL DOWN.

    2) If you are working on a group land and you are a member of the group, but does not have edit land permissions. In this case, Land Worker knows it can walk over the land, but it can not change the ground. This problem can be solved asking for the group owners to give you the permission to edit land.

What is the difference between the height (Z) and the height (T)?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HEIGHT ( Z ) AND HEIGHT ( T )?

The height Z shows the actual position of the machine on the Z axis.
The height T (TARGET) is the target position that Land Worker is going to work/change the ground on the Z axis.

Everytime the machine is above or at the same height of the ground, Z and T values will be equal.
Z and T will be different just when you are trying to LOWER your land to a height that is below the actual height of the ground.

    For example:

The ground of your land is positioned at Z 50m and you want to LOWER it to Z 46m. So you put your Land Worker on the ground, get your HUD and adjusts it to LOWER action. Then, you should adjust Land Worker to the TARGET ( T ) height you want it to work your ground. Then you click -4 button to subtract 4 m from Z. But, Land Worker can not go through the ground, so the Z height will continue to be at Z 50m, but the target T height will be adjusted to 46m. Then you just click on the WORK button to start lowering your land.

I bought a Land Worker from one of my own vendor machines. Why I did not receive my commission?

I BOUGHT A LAND WORKER FROM ONE OF MY OWN VENDOR MACHINES. WHY I DID NOT RECEIVE MY COMMISSION?

You didn´t receive your commission because you sold one unit of Land Worker to yourself. So the commission should be paid to your vendor kit referer. Also, you will receive commissions from self-sales made by vendors that you refer.
